Prebiotics are  organic substances that provide  the  specific nutrients for  promote the growth of  good bacteria, present in our body. These are essential elements, usually better known and used to promote the balance of the intestinal microbiota (bacterial flora). Useful microorganisms also live on the scalp and hair, which constitute the capillary microbiota. Their presence, in balance, is essential to ensure strength and protection. In summer, heat, dryness, sweat and frequent washing can alter the microbiota, with obvious consequences on the appearance of hair that appears frizzy, dry, hard and dull. COWASH, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

COWASH (Conditioner washing) consists of using the mask as a shampoo for a light cleansing. It works because creams also remove surface dirt but they are not real cleansers since they do not contain surfactants (active ingredients capable of dissolving and completely removing deposits). It is a recommended method as an alternative to shampoo, when, as in the summer, you wash your hair often. But it does not replace shampoo in the long run. Alternating COWASH with the more classic routine consisting of shampoo and mask can be a valid choice to not stress your hair too much in certain periods.
